Our Fantail family units are family-friendly like our little friend the Fantail. In our one-bedroom Fantail family unit there is 1 queen-sized bed and 1 single bed in the lounge area and 3 single beds in the bedroom (sleeps 6). All our beds are made up with crisp, clean sheets and an electric blanket. In the cupboard there is hanging space, a hair dryer and an iron and ironing board. The room has a Smart TV, table and chairs and a heater. The bathroom has a shower and separate toilet. Towels and toiletries are supplied. Enjoy a complimentary cup of tea or coffee.
This unit has a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, stove, toaster, kettle, and microwave, refrigerator with freezer, crockery and cutlery. This unit would be great for families, groups or school teams.

The Fantail, or Piwakawaka, is well known for its friendly chirping and playful flying antics. Fantails use their broad tails to change direction quickly while hunting for insects. They sometimes hop around upside-down amongst tree ferns and foliage to pick insects from the underside of leaves. Fantails mate for life and both parents share the raising of their young.

Hosts we’re incredibly lovely and very helpful. and the place was really clean and comfortable. Couldn’t recommend them enough. Also really close to all the amenities in town. Will definitely be staying again when passing through Palmy.

We had a studio which was small and perfectly formed. The rest of the team had a 2 bedroom unit with full kitchen that had beds for 7.
The central location makes walking to restaurants and bars really easy. There is even a coffee bar next store if you fancy a morning brew.
I would definitely book and stay again and have no hestitation in recommending. Especially suited for sports teams – but only well behaved family types!!!!
Wonderful hospitality and went the extra mile. Big hotel chains could learn a thing or two from the proprietors about customer engagement and service. Pick up and drop off to the airport included and a box of chocolates on departure. Overwhelmed. Thanks Farnie and Brenda.
